Subscription boxes are my favorite to review because it's always a unique experience with each company. I want to eventually make a blog post about all the cutest available boxes out there! I have been going down my list and this time around I will be showing you all the DokiDoki Box created by JapanCrate. I'm sure a lot of people are familiar with JapanCrate's most popular box which contains snacks and candies from Japan! The DokiDoki box is filled with kawaii items and I have wanted to get one for awhile. Most companies will preview a special featured item in an upcoming monthly box through email or on social media. DokiDoki posted a photo of a Kirby bento container and I just HAD TO HAVE IT. I became obsessed with Kirby merchandise after playing Star Allies on the Switch this year. I knew I couldn't miss out and I'm glad that I saw the sneak peek photos! Keep reading to see everything I received in the July Shooting Star Crate!
The pattern inside the box made me so happy when opening! I love all the adorable little characters and prints.
Stationary is always a good idea. I watched a lot of Sailor Moon when I was younger and a small journal like this reminds me of when I used to keep a diary! It's very nostalgic and fits the starry theme for this box.
The cover is beautiful ☾
The front page has a moon cut out!
Pouches are never a bad idea in my opinion. I have lost count of how many I have but I am happy to welcome another one to my collection. The size of this pouch is fairly small so I’ll be able to keep change or some small stationary items in here. I’m loving the Twin Stars pastel colors and print!
Here is the special Kirby bento box! Only a few Kirby character designs were available and I was lucky enough to receive the Waddle Dee one I wanted! It’s common for subscription boxes to include an item that comes in multiple styles or colors and have them randomly distributed. I am a little disappointed about how tiny it actually is. This cannot be used for a full meal maybe just a side dish. I would love to see a whole Kirby themed lunch set! It’s still extremely cute and I am satisfied with the product overall. I will be using this to hold my loose sticker flakes :)
Almost everything I own is kawaii and colorful. It’s a bonus when something is also practical like this soap pump bottle! The Twin Stars soap bottle will look adorable in my bathroom.
Unfortunately this item came to me in damaged condition. It’s a very fragile item and it didn’t make it through possible rough shipment. Thanks to customer service, a brand new one will be sent to me. I do not know when the replacement will arrive so I went ahead and took pictures of this one anyway. It’s still beautiful and I would have love to hang this up somewhere. The tradition and message behind it is so interesting.
Thank you so much for reading! I hope that this post was insightful for you. Please leave a comment for me if you have any questions about this particular subscription box. Let me know what your favorite item was if you are reading this or tried the box yourself! See you next time ^U^

Honestly, these are all very cheap items or, like the bento, part of a set. The Kirby bento was a 3 piece set for $10, the notebooks were $5, the pouch and soap containers under $5 each...not really worth it.
